Dr. Amanda Kornfield

Dr. Amanda Kornfield was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She is a lifelong Georgian; she received a B.S in Biology at the University of Georgia in Athens, earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, and completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology followed by a hematopathology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.

Amanda’s clinical interests include lymph node and bone marrow pathology as well as flow cytometry. She also enjoys breast, gynecologic, and genitourinary pathology.

Her hobbies outside of work include scuba diving, riding rollercoasters, and playing pickleball with family. She also is a haunted house enthusiast and frequently travels to visit the top-rated haunted houses.
