Dr. Tamela Snyder grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After two years of internal medicine training at UAB, Dr. Snyder went on to complete anatomic and clinical pathology residency and a cytopathology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Following training, she worked as a staff pathologist with Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital. Dr. Snyder joined Peachtree-Piedmont Pathology in 2007.
Dr. Snyder’s interests include general anatomic pathology, cytopathology, pulmonary pathology, and clinical chemistry.
